Why Aseef

Most brainstorms end without a decision.

A whiteboard gives you unlimited space and no structure. Aseef gives each idea its own slide and a few blocks for discussing it, so the session ends with a decision and someone who owns it. The examples below are the real controls, running on this page, so try them.

What a blank board leaves behind

Here is an hour of a session as eight notes. Looking at them, you can't tell which one was an objection, which was a question, and which was the thing you agreed on. Switch the board to see the same eight notes sorted into ideas.

One idea per slide

A slide holds a title, a description and the blocks added to it. If an idea won't fit on one slide, it is usually two ideas, and it helps to find that out early. The strip below shows the same three ideas one at a time, the way present mode does in a real space.

Weigh the options, then record the decision

A trade-off block lists the reasons on both sides, and anyone can agree with a reason instead of repeating it. When the discussion is done, the host writes the decision. It stays a draft until someone marks it final, and the reasoning stays with it for whoever asks in June why you chose this.

Written in Arabic from the start

We write both languages ourselves instead of translating at the end. The interface mirrors correctly from right to left, counts follow all six Arabic plural forms, numbers use Arabic-Indic digits, and dates use the Gregorian calendar in both languages so a date never reads as two different days. The language switch at the top of this page is the same one the app uses. Try it and read this page again.
