Terms of Service

Aseef lets you create spaces for structured brainstorming: one idea per slide, blocks for questions, polls, trade-offs, actions, resources, decisions and timers, realtime collaboration, present mode, search and export. Features may change as the product develops.

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires, and able to form a binding agreement. If you use Aseef for an organization, you confirm you may accept these Terms on its behalf.

You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep that account secure, you are responsible for activity under your Aseef account, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You keep all rights in what you write and upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and transmit your content only as needed to operate the Service for you and the people you share it with, for example to sync a space, render it for collaborators, send a notification or produce an export. The license ends when the content is deleted, apart from backups that expire on their own cycle.

You confirm that you have the rights to what you share and that it does not break the law or these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
• Harass, threaten, defame or harm others, or share sexual content involving minors, content that incites violence, or malware.
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including through invitations.
• Access accounts, spaces or systems you are not authorized to access, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability except under our published disclosure policy.
• Disrupt the Service, bypass its limits or security controls, or scrape it at scale.

To report content or behavior that breaks these Terms, email hi@jehaad.com with a link to the space or a description. We review reports, may remove content or suspend accounts, and will tell the affected user where the law allows.

The host of a space decides who can join it and what each member may do, as host, editor, commenter or viewer. Hosts can remove members and remove content from their space. Members use a space subject to the host's reasonable instructions and these Terms.

Aseef is free to use. During launch, every account gets the same launch limits: up to 250 active hosted spaces, 100 members per space besides the host, 300 ideas per space, 2 GB of storage and files of up to 50 MB, with a 30-day trash. These limits exist for reliability and are published at aseef.app/pricing.

The Free plan limits published there (5 active hosted spaces, 10 members per space including the host, 100 ideas per space, 1 GB of storage and files of up to 25 MB) take effect only when a paid plan launches, and we will announce that in advance. Anything you already have when they take effect stays yours; a limit only stops you adding more.

If we introduce paid plans, we will give at least 30 days' notice before anything you use today starts to cost money, and you will never be charged without choosing a paid plan yourself. Spaces you already have will never be locked behind a payment: you will always be able to open, export and delete them.

We work to keep Aseef available and publish its measured health at aseef.app/status, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, and we will announce planned work on the status page where we can.

You can export your spaces and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we must by law, or to protect users or the Service. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.

If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as content licenses for backups, disclaimers, liability and governing law, continue to apply.

If you send us ideas or suggestions about Aseef, we may use them without obligation to you. This does not give us any right to the content of your spaces.

The Service relies on the providers named in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to your use of them, for example your Google or Apple account.

If you use Aseef through the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims, which are our responsibility to the extent these Terms provide; you confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or on a US prohibited-party list; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of any purchase price, which is zero today.

Google Play's terms apply in the same way to the Android app.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that protects you.

To the extent the law allows, Aseef is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

To the extent the law allows, you will compensate Aseef for claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from content you share or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have jurisdiction over disputes relating to them. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in its courts.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are published in Arabic and English. Both are authored with the same meaning. If they ever differ, the Arabic text prevails, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, merger or sale, with notice to you.

When we make a material change, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Aseef after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can export your data and delete your account.
