When you access the Service, we and our subprocessors may collect certain technical and operational data automatically, including device and browser type, Internet Protocol address (from which general location information, such as country, may be derived), timestamps, and interaction data. Such data is used to operate the Service, maintain security, and analyse aggregated usage.

Personal information is processed, as applicable, to provide and improve the Service; authenticate users; create, store, and synchronise spaces, ideas, and collaboration data; deliver features you select (including sharing, invitations, presentation mode, and remote control where enabled); prevent misuse; comply with legal obligations; and send notices relating to the Service.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or comparable legislation applies, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract; legitimate interests in operating a secure collaboration platform, weighed against your rights and freedoms; consent, where required; and compliance with legal obligations.

Personal information is disclosed to service providers and subprocessors that perform functions on our behalf, including hosting, databases, authentication, email, and analytics. They process data only on documented instructions and may be located outside your country or region. Aseef does not sell personal information.

When you participate in a space, certain information (such as your identity as displayed in the product, contributions, and activity) may be visible to other participants in accordance with the product’s design and the host’s settings. Do not share information you are unwilling to disclose to those participants.

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active and thereafter for such period as is necessary to fulfil the purposes in this Policy, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Deletion features may be offered within the Service; residual copies may persist in backups for a limited time.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of, or obtain portability of, your personal information. You may exercise applicable rights using in-product controls or by contacting us at the address below.

The Service is not directed at individuals below the age at which parental consent is required for collection of personal information under applicable law. If you believe we have collected such information in error, contact us using the details below.

Personal information may be processed and stored in jurisdictions other than that in which you reside. Where cross-border transfers are restricted, we implement appropriate safeguards as required by law.

We may amend this Policy. The revised text will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
